Falun Gong 1 Hour Exercise Videos

Falun Gong (Force of the Law Wheel), also called Falun Dafa (The Great Way of the Law Wheel), is a wonderful synthesis of ancient Buddhist and Daoist practices.

To me, it is a link between Yoga and the energy practices of Qi Gong. Its relatively simple exercises can be performed by almost anyone who is able to sit and stand up.

It is centered around building a spiritual force in the form of a Dharma Wheel. The practitioner becomes a living “energy transmutation machine” working according to the Highest Divine principles. Over time, this builds up a force called “gong” (功), an intelligent power that has a multitude of benefits. Essentially, you are building up a kind of “Siddhi manager”. This concept is important, because Falun Gong does not only develop Siddhis in isolation (so-called “supernatural” powers), which can cause more harm than good in the long term, but also acts as a guide to Lawful Thought and Action (Dharma).

Another piece of good news is that to practice effectively, you don’t need to visit seminars or become part of a Falun Gong group. All you need are the exercises, along with their magical verses.

To make it easier to learn the movements and verses, I have started to create a series of videos that allow you to practice each exercise and corresponding verse on its own, in the form of hour-long loops that allow you to choose your own repetition numbers without having to rewind a video.

So far, I have completed videos for the first two movements.

Here’s a link to the Youtube playlist, which I will keep updated as I complete new videos.

Channeled messages: words of caution

Channeled messages can be defined generally as a phenomenon where a human being connects to a particular portion of the one self, and “brings down” its essence through the mental and astral planes, resulting in word and action on the physical plane.

This is a natural ability of every human being (and everything else in existence), and even “ordinary” humans do it all the time. Life on the physical plane, after all, is the end result of what happens on the higher planes.

The most popular specialized definition of this process nowadays came into being during the Theosophic movement led by Madame Blavatsky. Mediums would, often on a public or semi-public stage, get into trance and relay spoken messages from “entities”, often purported as the voices of dead people. It was followed by such popular writings as that of Aleister Crowley channeling a being named Aiwaz (also spelled Aiwass), resulting in the”Bible of Thelema”, Liber Al Vel Legis.

Over the last decades, we have seen a massive increase in the creation and distribution of channeled messages, such as the Law of One series or Cassiopeia. We can identify several chief reasons for this increase. First, the veil between the spiritual and physical is getting thinner. Second, spiritual practices become more widespread. These two reasons enable more people to receive messages. In addition, distribution of messages is aided by the fact that humanity is better connected than ever through the Internet.

Web sites such as eraoflight.com and sananda.website collect many of these messages, from a variety of beings and channels.

I have observed that many readers of these messages, untrained in magical disciplines, are ill-prepared to deal with their content. In fact, many of us seem to be completely bewitched by these messages and take them for absolute truth. I think we see the same mechanism at hand that occurs when somebody pulls out fancy certificates, titles and other credentials. They become an authority, and people naturally assume they must be right in everything they say. Heck, even soccer players and other celebrities are regularly asked for political commentary, and many people follow their lead without question.

So we have mysterious beings producing written or spoken messages through a process that most people can’t even begin to understand. A sure-fire recipe for building a cult following, right?

Alas, spirits (and deities) are, in a way, “just people”. They have opinions and beliefs, they can’t predict the future with 100% certainty, and many of them don’t understand the physical plane and human life very well. And let’s not forget that every channeling is also colored by the psyche and conditioning of the channel itself, further changing the message.

This doesn’t mean that all of these messages are to be dismissed. Some offer valuable information about future timelines. Others present ethical and moral counsel to better one’s character. Still others help us advance our spiritual practices. Many benefits can be had.

But just as in every profession, there are experienced and talented channels that are great and pure, and channels that still need to learn how to get better at their craft. And the latter’s channeled messages are often adulterated by their own strong conditioning and beliefs.

Seek caution, and apply discernment. If your next door neighbor or a guy on the street is telling you things, you might question them thoroughly first, right? Same here. Go within, and see if you can truly resonate with a message or not, and whether that resonance is really genuine or just a result of outdated conditioning.

Finally, let’s remember the classic New Age quote: “Just because they’re dead, doesn’t mean they’re smart”.

The Satan/Savior complex in magical teaching

laura-chouette-f5civrxflqw-unsplash.jpgI just finished replying to a thread on Studio Arcanis, on the current state of both students and teachers of the spiritual and magical. It was sparked by people’s experiences with Jason Miller’s 700$ course on Hekate.

I’m a bit low on time right now, just coming out of my overseas move, but I really want to spread the word on that issue.

So this time I’m just going to quote my post verbatim on here.

[…] I do think that there is a manifestation of the satan/savior complex when it comes to magical teachers (and other subjects, but that’s beside the point here). Their students tend to either idolize them, putting them on cloud-high pedestals, or to curse them (after becoming ex-students).

Moreover, a large percentage of spiritual teachers themselves tend to fall in two categories, according to my observations. On one hand you have genuine teachers who often have a lot to give, but take too little in return (monetary and otherwise), on the other hand you have charlatans who teach fake knowledge just to make big bucks.

IMHO we as humans need to overcome this and find a balance, a “new normal”. Magical teaching is a sacred art and practice, and both students and teachers need to start honoring this more.

The Satan/Savior complex is also, in the context of women, called Madonna/Whore complex. It’s a bigger pattern in the current human collective consciousness.

If you have any thoughts on the subject, then I’d love to have a discussion. Just leave a comment or send me a message.

And of course I’d also like to take this opportunity to encourage you to take a look at my own Magical Apprenticeship program (link in the top navigation), in which I guide all my students to build their very own foothold in the spiritual realm.

The 18 Arhats of Vihara Sien (Wihan Sien)

During my trip to Thailand in October/November 2019, I visited a temple museum near Pattaya called Vihara Sien (also known as Wihan Sien). It’s a Thai-Chinese temple that has been converted to a museum. Personally I think it’s still a temple. The energies in that place are very strong. Among colorful paintings and other artworks, Tao Masters share their space with Buddhist and Hindu deities. Among the many temples and shrines I have visited so far in Thailand, this easily ranks among the Top 3 (plus you can visit Buddha Mountain just around the corner).

Among the items I was impressed by the most is a series of sculptures called “18 Arhats”. Arhat, or Arahant in Pali, is a term in Buddhism for a certain type of Enlightened Person. The Wikipedia article on the term summarizes it quite well, but another way to understand what it means is looking at the statues along with their brief explanations. I wish to share my pictures of the 18 Arhats with you, so that you can draw inspiration from them for your practice.

For now, here’s an assorted collection of the images along with their placquettes. I am planning to create individual blog posts with some more background and a more refined presentation.

New Telegram group for True Wealth Magic

Ok folks.

When it comes to Wealth and Abundance, there are lots of cries for help, here and elsewhere. Frustration and confusion abound, on a collective and individual level.

We also have what I consider lots of misinformation, or incomplete information, on the subject. For example, if Law of Attraction (Abraham Hicks, The Secret, etc.) is both simple and effective, why does it not work for most people? Likewise, if generosity is the basis for abundance, why do you end up being poor at the end of the month after giving tips and donations generously?

I’ve studied this topic for years now, and though I’m still not a millionaire, I believe that by now I have some fresh ideas to share. Today, I felt inspired to create a new invite-only Telegram group for discussing new information on the subject of Wealth and Abundance.

However, this is not your typical “teaching” group where I sell my half-baked, or plainly fraudulent guru ideas, for dosh. If you are reading this, you are already past the stage where you want to exchange your free will and possessions for being victimized.

Instead, this group is designed to be a collaborative effort. People helping each other.

Interested in new insights? Have burning questions on the subject? We would love to have you!

Magical Apprenticeship

Nowadays a lot of students of the art are learning from books, or they become member of an organization where they receive semi-tailored advice (if they’re lucky).

I believe that every student is different in a number of ways, so I’m now offering a traditional one-to-one magical apprenticeship (which can also be face-to-face at times). I have strong ties to Franz Bardon’s system of the Western Hermetic Mysteries, but I’m an eclectic at heart and I’m able to work with initiatory spirits from a variety of different traditions and systems.

If this sounds interesting to you, and you have a sincere wish to accelerate your spiritual development, I highly encourage you to contact me. I am also perfectly able to work with women, as I have a strong feminine side. And don’t worry, we’re not quite gonna look like the dudes in the picture — unless you want to. 😉

The following is a letter I sent out to a prospective student. It is a highly individualized plan, tailored towards the natal chart and personality of the student, as well as their goals. Before crafting their lesson, I dived deep into their birth chart, and we conversed by email and video conference.

Lesson 1

Here are my ideas for you starting out. This covers a period of 4 weeks from now, from Sat, August 10th to Sat, September 7th.

The overarching theme of this time period is for you to work on your habits, as this forms the basis of your continued progress and our work together.

The work starts and ends on a Saturday. Saturday is the day of Saturn, which is a very good planet for establishing and keeping habits. Saturn is also associated with the image of a container; in the Qabbalistic Tree of Life, it is the path between Kether and Tiphareth, where the great unbounded Light takes on form in a bounded individual container, the Mental Self.

So here Saturn brackets your efforts in time and gives them structure. As such, it could be called the Guardian Angel of your efforts.

Exercise 1. Subconscious re-programming.

This is an exercise mentioned by Bardon in Step 2. It is very simple and very powerful at the same time.

Every morning before getting up, and every night before falling asleep, repeat affirmations that help you to establish healthy habits in the subconscious part of your Mental Body. From there, they will quickly crystallize into Astral form, and then affect your daily life.

Here’s a good list: https://affirmyourlife.blogspot.com/2009/08/habit-affirmations.html

You can either go through the whole list every time, pick your favorites, or limit it to a small number. I would suggest to pick 10 that resonate the most and then use these.

It also pays to meditate on them throughout the day (or just read them and say them aloud or in your mind as you would in bed).

Make small steps. On Saturday, do these four things only (4 is the number of stability):

1. Read through the list that I linked and mark the affirmations that stand out the most for you.
2. Collect these into a document you can print, e.g. on Google Docs.
3. Print it and put it on your bedside table, or on your pillow for later.
4. After getting into bed, read through them as many times as it feels good, but at least once.

On Sunday, you only do one of these things, twice, i.e. #4 in the morning and evening. Every step completed will be a small victory, and ideally you should reward yourself in a small way. This can be as simple as saying to yourself aloud or in your mind, “Wow! I did great!” 🙂 This will help you strengthen your self-love as well.

Every day I recommend that you pray to Saturn to help you. It doesn’t need to be fancy or long. Ideally, speak words from your heart, uncensored. It could just be one sentence, e.g. “Saturn, I call on you to please help me following through with my new habits.”.

Exercise 2. Keeping a Journal.

Buy a blank journal that you like. Back when I kept journals, I liked Leuchtturm 1917 a lot. A lot of people love Moleskine. However, it could be any bound blank book that you like (or that fits your budget!). While it is a good idea to consecrate a journal used for magical work, we will not do so at this time to avoid overloading your schedule and cognition. This journal will become the home for any notes you have regarding your magical work. Many people prefer to keep “mundane” journal entries separately in another journal, but I have always combined both, so do what you like. Keep it together with a suitable pen. Preface any entries with the date; later on, note down any conditions that you find helpful next to the date, e.g. the sign of the Moon or the weather. Don’t worry about form, the content is the most important thing.

In particular, note down any negative thoughts that occurred to you during the day. It could be thoughts about a gap in orderliness, or a feeling of guilt about what society likes to call “procrastination”.

If you miss an entry, make it a habit to not feel guilty. Do not try to do it later unless you feel a strong urge to do so. Instead, just skip it and make a mental note to not forget it or slack next time.

Exercise 3. Dream Divination, assisted by Astrology. Also, on Mercury and planetary hours.

1. Prep work

Wednesday is the day of Mercury. This planet is analogous, among other things, to thinking and research.

Perform these steps on the first Wednesday in the exercise period (August 14th).

Optional condition: Ideally perform these steps in the Hour of Mercury as well. The first hour of Mercury starts at Sunrise on Wednesday. You can find the other planetary hours for your location, as well as their duration with this tool: http://www.lunarium.co.uk/planets/hours.jsp . Make sure to use the correct location, as it defaults to London.

Find out the times when the Moon will be in a Water Sign. Use the internet to find out about water signs, if you need to. Then, get familiar with the tool at planetwatcher.com. Make sure you select the correct timezone. In your journal, carefully note down the dates and times.

Optional: Also, try to find out, using Planetwatcher, at what time the Moon will be at the same position as (“conjunct”) your natal Neptune; that is, at the 24th degree of the Sign of Capricorn. The 24th degree of a sign is between 23 degrees and 0 minutes and 23 degrees, 59 arc-minutes and 59 arc-seconds. Note down this point in time in your journal as well.

These are auspicious times for a petition to the Moon for help with Dream Magic. The Moon and Neptune, as well as the Water element, rule dreams.

At these dates and times, ask the Moon and Neptune to help you to receive clear answers in your dreams, to any questions asked before falling asleep. Also ask them to help you remember the answers given. Listen for an answer in your heart, but don’t expect anything. It is perfectly well enough to just send out this petition.

2. Dream Divination

On the same days as you sent out the petition (as just explained), ask a question before falling asleep, and ask to receive the answer in your dreams that night. Remind yourself that you are going to recognize and remember the answer the next morning. The first time, the question should be along the lines of “What is the best way to improve my ability to establish and keep new habits?”. The other times I will leave it up to your discretion (or subject to further discussion between us, as you deem necessary).

Keep your journal handy by your bedside. In the morning, after waking up (and if you wake up at night as well), immediately turn on the light and write down everything that you remember about your dreams that night. Try not to interpret or censor anything. Don’t pay attention to form. Just write it down.

Later, after breakfast, review your notes and meditate on the answers. This meditation should happen in any position that feels comfortable to you. It could be sitting on a chair or lying on your bed or couch. Do not combine this with caffeine or any other mind-altering substances, if you can. It need not take long; try to feel out the point when it should end. Feeling bored can be a good indicator that it’s time to stop and do something else. Write down any findings in your journal. Try to follow any advice given, and give thanks to the Moon and Neptune for granting you these answers (just say “Thank you, Moon, thank you, Neptune, for sending me these answers in my dreams.”).

Closing Notes.

If something worries you or seems unusual during performing these exercises, note it down in your journal and talk to me.

As these beginning steps are crucial, let’s have another call around 1 week in. You can send me emails any time before that, of course.

Any questions before Saturday, let me know as well.

I am praying for your success in all these endeavours. 🙂

Mundane astrology chart of Bangkok

Mundane astrology chart of Bangkok, merger with Thonburi 1971-12-20

I’m just putting this out there, as a quick search didn’t yield any mundane chart of Bangkok for me, so I did some research.

This chart is based on the time and date when the city of Thonburi was merged into Bangkok, forming what we know today as Bangkok, or Krung Thep Maha Nakhon in Thai. Note that the name Bangkok goes back to the 15th century or even earlier.

I have found this chart to be accurate from a personal perspective. No rectification work has gone into this, and neither have I bothered to set the chart to 12pm Bangkok time (which is customary for mundane astrology charts without a known time).

In particular, note that the Moon might have been either in late Capricorn, separating from a conjunction with Venus, or in early Aquarius, conjoining the North Node.

Saturn conjunct Chiron: Grounding the Pain

The influence of Saturn on Chiron by conjunction, where a person’s Saturn activates another persons natal Chiron, grounds your worst pains. Only by Saturn’s constricting force can we contain our awareness before focusing it on a pocket of pain in us, and this combination boosts this process considerably. From this perspective, this is a highly beneficial aspects, allowing us to “tune into” the pain, by crystallizing a resonant vibration within ourselves. This pain is Chironic pain, meaning we are pre-destined by our life plan to work with this particular type of pain and, after mastering and transmuting it, providing the powerful healing that only a person can provide that is intimately familiar with this kind of pain.  So we get a chance here to fulfill that destiny.

Then, what previously was free-wheeling rogue energy in your unconscious mind and heart becomes known, becomes ready for transmutation into consciously directed life energy, available at our disposal. After this grounding, the energy will become “unstuck” at first. Then process of it moving through the bodies is initiated and, unless willfully resisted (which I do not recommend) will take its course and activate blockages on its way for resolution and, thus, dissolution. This means that after the initial Saturn-Chiron hit, the following weeks and months can be a period of extreme healing. Pain will become power, provided you are open to the experience and take the tools that are given. When the pain comes, try not to resist it and just stay with it in Love and silent Awareness. It is, after all, just a part of the energy field of your body that is associated with past conditioning.

There are many other ways to work through this process of resolving Chironic pain and arrive at a similar result, but this one is the way of Saturn applied Chiron.

If you have any questions  regarding this transit, please write to me.

Note: The next time that transiting Saturn will conjoin transiting Chiron will be in June 2028, a long way off. It will be on the 7th degree of Taurus.

Uranus in Taurus: Divine Love in Practical Ways

Inner courtyard of a generous white-walled mansion with lush greenery. The sun is shining.

Just be Love. Just let the Light flow through you. Find your inner purpose. Enter the 5th dimension. Nothing else is needed.

And so on.

Sentences like these abound in channeled messages. And that’s fine and dandy, and it definitely has its point and purpose. But what the beings behind these messages, many of whom have never incarnated on this planet, often don’t seem to understand, is that we earth-walkers have bodies to feed (often not just our own!) and bills to pay. And that, for 99.99% of people, this is a major challenge. Let’s talk about this and see how Uranus in Taurus fits into it.

Devotional practices based on audiovisuals

Chanting mantras can be really tedious. I don’t do it very often. There’s value in the tedium of chanting mantras too of course, as it calms the mind and forces you to face any thoughts and feelings of boredom and thus also strengthens your willpower and awareness. But there’s a time and place for everything, so I am introducing to you here a different practice of working with mantras to connect with spirits and deities. Negative feelings working with Lord Shiva

Here’s a question by user “Viidyut” on studioarcanis.com, 17 July 2019, concerning negative feelings that came up after starting to work with Lord Shiva. I figure that his question and my answer might be relevant to other people as well:

Hello folks, I have a small problem and honestly I could use some expert advice.

So, I used to be a regular smoker before(5cigarettes a day). I used to smoke every day no matter what. I recently overcame a major health related complication(intestinal ulcer failing to clot because of medicine I’m using in over dose, because of bad advice from an incompetent doctor leading to massive hemorrhage that I miraculously survived)

I started working with God shiva during this time(mostly chatting, working in imagination), I promised that I will change my lifestyle, lead a healthier life and quit smoking. Which I did for one month, then I had a craving and smoked. I was overcome with guilt for breaking my word, apologized, promised to the god I will quit for good this time and smoked again, full of shame. This happened twice more before I realized I can’t really quit cold turkey.

The problem is, every single time, I felt the connection I had with God fading, until it suddenly disappeared yesterday compeltly, Its like there is a block preventing me from reaching out to Shiva.

Also, I developed existential crisis, my entire confidence crumbled in a single night and I developed depression(not related to God though, I’m having these thoughts about worthlessnesswhich suddenly started pooing up).

What should I do? Any advice is appreciated, I’m kinda honestly lost.

Edit: also, I want to point, I used to meditate on shiva as a formless force of creation, considering it my own way of attaining HGA.

Some thoughts. You’ve mentioned shame and guilt. “Negative” thoughts and feelings like this can easily block spiritual connections and sabotage works. Accept them as a part of your now-self, in a neutral manner (they are basically just an energy in your body), then move on to changing your reactions. It’s okay to fail sometimes. A good spirit or god will continue to work with you if you desire so.

These thoughts and feelings are a sign that you are making great evolutionary leaps. They’ve been there before, but it was probably Lord Shiva himself that granted you awareness of them. Which means that for now they are very present and powerful in your consciousness. This is natural, and after you have done the work of acceptance you will be able to access powers in you that had been blocked in the past.

Relax, stop judging yourself and ask Lord Shiva to show you a different way than cold turkey. He is still there, you just cannot perceive him as well as at other times. Spend time in silent devotion. Light some candles, speak some prayers, build an altar, get a pendant or something so you can strengthen your connection.
